Hospital Nursing Jobs: What They Are and How to Get Them

Are you looking to become a nurse but not sure where to start? Are you looking for hospital nursing jobs but not quiet sure what to do? Then let me help you out.

If you are just starting the career of nursing then you might need to know the various types of nursing classifications. The first one is the RN, this stands for registered nurse and normally it takes years of college and a state certificatin test to become. The next step is a LPN or LVN which stands for licensed practical nurse and licensed vocational nurse, both of these take just a couple of years to get. The last on is a nursing assistant. This can depend on the company or hospital but usually does not require any schooling or they may require the first of LPN/LVN training to be complete.

If you are looking for hospital nursing jobs as a full-time and long term career then I would suggest going to get you’re degree and becoming an RN. The LPN/LVN does not make nearly as much and has to work under the guidance of an RN, or doctor and the nurses assistant does not have any nursing duties they do whatever the nurse tells them to do.
