Jobs at Hospital: Best paid for the Requirements

Healthcare is booming as it has for the last decade or two and most people believe if you work in the healthcare profession then you must be extremely wealthy.  However, that common belief is not always the case.  For most medical careers you have years upon years of schooling and interning which results in very large sums of student loans.  There are jobs at hospital which do pay very well and considering the time spent to do them I find these three to be the best.

My top pick would be a registered nurse.  Most of the time you can become an RN in 5-7 years and then the average pay is 60,000+ a year and if you are willing to work the graveyard shift most hospitals pay their nurses an extra 2-3 hour for it.  I put the RN at the top because of the variety that comes with it, an RN can work on any floor of the hospital.  So if you find the ER to fast paced and stressful, switch to the cancer treatment floor.  Then to top it off there are some nursing positions you can work your way up to that will pay as much as 100,000 or more.  If you’re looking for jobs at hospital then consider being an RN.

My next pick for the top job in a hospital would be an X-Ray Technician.  What I like about this job is that you can work with just a one-year certificate and make about 40,000.  Then while you work you can continue going to school and get you associates and bachelors and your income has the potential to go up to 60,000+ a year.

If you like to work with machines and get your hands into things than my last top jobs at hospital pick is for you.  A biomedical technician.  They are in charge of testing and repairing medical equipment and can usually make around 40,000 or more.  They also do not need to interact with patients so if you are not a people person this job is great.

Whether you choose one of these career paths or not, if you get into the health care industry you will probably have a comfortable financial life.
