Medical Employment Agencies: Who Do They Hire?

Agencies for medical employment are often hired by hospitals, clinics and dispensaries to recruit, check and hire all their employees.  

The employment agency that focuses on health care will often be the best place for doctors, nurses, technicians, and lab workers to go for a job.  The agency will be in charge of collecting your resume, verify the facts on it, doing a background check, interviewing you and then hiring you.

Most hospitals like using the agency because often you are hired by the agency and not the hospital for the first 30-90 days and if they choose not to keep you it is easy to get rid of you.  For this reason I suggest during that probation period you do your best and even take extra shifts to get yourself noticed by management.

Let’s talk of professions that medical employment agencies will hire for are physical therapists, nutritionists, pharmacists, speech therapists and any other specialists that a hospital might need, just think how many different skills are needed at a hospital, it seems endless.

Most of the people the agency will hire will need a certificate but there are still plenty of jobs that do not.  For instance, candy strippers do still exist but have strict background checks and other requirements to be hired.  Also most of the janitorial crew and cafeteria staff are uneducated but are hired through these agency.
